The company now employs some 100 people, three quarters of whom work in the production hall and the others are in the office. So does Business Controller Bas van den Broek,<\/span> who joined the company six years ago. Bas: \u201cI do not belong to the family, but I already knew the company because I live nearby. We supply our products mainly for larger project construction, and we like to work with regular chain partners. You have to imagine that we make window frames for projects ranging from ten to two hundred houses, both in new construction and also in renovation. We are constantly thinking of the best solutions at the best price. This benefits not only our customers and their clients, but also the ultimate users and occupants. We really are a family business with short lines of communication, a flat organisation and an informal atmosphere. In our production, we work four days a week, nine hours a day. The great thing about that is that everyone has an extra day to enjoy their free time. That is much appreciated. Our Wall of Fame is well filled: many colleagues have been employed here for a long time.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Preventive<\/h2>\n

Bas: \u201cThe construction sector took a heavy hit in 2008 and 2009. The second generation, who were at the helm at the time, decided then to start insuring our customers. About two years ago, we came into contact with Xolv and the first meeting felt right straight away. We hit it off straight away, mainly because of Xolv\u2019s commitment and the time they took with us. That feeling has never changed. Xolv really understands what\u2019s going on in SMEs, and we\u2019re also similar in the way we work.\u00a0 Responding and adapting quickly, working flexibly and being committed. Van de Vin Ramen en Kozijnen B.V. is a real Brabant family business. Frans van de Vin founded his carpentry business in 1960 and now the third generation is at the helm. Frans was a craftsman, he tackled all sorts of things. Construction carpentry, but also interior panelling and furniture. When sons Anton and Mathee joined the company in the 1980s, the focus shifted to producing window frames. A good choice!
